Cartoons

The MiARD project team is working together with the Dutch cartoonist Abe Borst to make cartoons that illustrate results from, or the methods used by the project team. Four cartoons are available:

1) The discovery by the Rosetta mission of the molecule glycine, an amino acid, around the comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.

Cartoon also available in German (Deutsch) and French (Francais).

2) How the project team obtained an accurate, high resolution three-dimensional shape of the comet:

3) Estimating the strength of cometary materials, and the internal structure of the comet

Also available in German and French versions.

4) Space Dust: Modelling cometary activity to better predict hazards from cometary dust (e.g. meteor showers)
